"My husband and I are from Washington State visiting family who live locally. Google didn’t disappoint when we were searching smoked BBQ food and was led to The Barbecue Spot. The smoked brisket and baby back ribs just melted in my mouth. The Mac & cheese is homemade and delicious. We met the Owner (Cort) and he recounted how long he spent getting the Mac & cheese just right. The owner is very knowledgeable about proteins and smoking them. The combination is the most amazing meal! If you like smoked meats you’ll love this place. If you’ve always wanted to try it you’re in for the best first experience. The Barbecue Spot has only been open for 4 months (as of Oct 2025). Word of mouth has already made it a popular place and after our experience I can see why. This is definitely a place we’ll come back to next time we’re in the area."

"I have been waiting for years for a good BBQ place to come into the area... This is hands down the best. The brisket sandwich is a pulled brisket which is my absolute favorite and very difficult to come by around here. Truthfully the best brisket sandwich I have ever had. Very generous portions for a great price too. The mac and cheese was very unique and we enjoyed it as well. The real surprise were the beans. I am not a big baked beans person, but these are SO SPECIAL! There is so much flavor in every bite! I was genuinely shocked because I wasn't expecting a side order of beans to be such a special treat. I am so grateful that these guys are here. We are going to be very regular customers.
